Uncover your potential', indeed! Once you stop ogling the girl, though, you might notice that this Australian Special Air Service (SAS) recruiting poster shows Australian Disruptive Pattern Camouflage to very good effect. [Image courtesy Brad Turner collection.]
Pakisztáni desert camouflage
Republic of Hungary
Probably intended for use by Hungarian peacekeepers dispatched to the Middle East, the pakisztáni ('Pakistani') desert camouflage pattern was introduced into service some time around 1992. It is a three-colour pattern, comprising jagged, leaf-shaped patches of earth and medium green printed on a tan background.
The pattern did not remain in service for very long, however. It was discontinued in 1999.
