Indonesian 'duck hunter spot' pattern
Republic of Indonesia
Heavily influenced by the World War II U.S. 'duck hunter' pattern, which was used primarily in the Pacific Theatre of Operations, this five-colour camouflage pattern the first design every to be used by the Indonesian armed forces.
Originally issued to the Pasukan Gerak Tjepat ('Rapid Action Forces', PGT) of the Indonesian Air Force, it was replaced, in the late 1960s, by a distinctive 'jagged' camouflage pattern. However, variations of the "duck hunter" pattern remained in use with other Indonesian services into the 1980s, when the army adopted DPM.
