'Red Desert' DPM trial pattern, No. 4
Sultanate of Oman

This Omani 'Red Desert' DPM trial pattern, No. 4 is a three-colour camouflage pattern. The shapes are identical to those used with 'Red Desert' DPM trial pattern, No. 3, but pale chalk yellow has been substituted for dark earth and madder has been substituted for pale chalk yellow. It is believed that this pattern went to trials but was not adopted.

This camouflage pattern has proven very difficult to research. If anyone can supply more information, please contact me.
