16 November 2006: Marines of the People's Liberation Army (Navy) (PLA(N)) stand at attention as Commander, Pacific Fleet Rear Adm. Gary Roughead greets them, following a demonstration of the brigade's capabilities. Chinese Type 03 Oceanic Pattern camouflage is a four-colour camouflage pattern comprising black, blue and olive drab elements on a pale blue background. At the time of writing, Type 99 Woodland Camouflage is still the standard camouflage pattern of the People's Liberation Army Navy Marine Corps (simplified Chinese: 中国人民解放军海军陆战队;, traditional Chinese: 中國人民解放軍海軍陸戰隊; PLAMC).
